the words won't come...

i have been working on a new blog post for two weeks now and the words won't seem to come.  i have a lot of ground to cover (it's been a busy couple of weeks), but the words are coming out jumbled and need some overall refinement.  

jeff and i promised each other that we would update at least once a week, but we've already destroyed that promise.  it's been hard to figure out what to write.  i feel like there is a block.  i figure i'll just post this one and start on the next.  

a side note...jeff and i have been playing the baby music.  we put the ipod ear buds on my belly and watched the baby "dance."  he seems to favor country and the beatles (okay, that's all we played, but he really did love them!).  lots of kicks and movement!
